Pendeli Resort - Platres

The location of the hotel is excellent and central for most of the areas of the Troodos. The hotel is simple, clean and unfussy, but is the perfect base in the mountains. The food is good, the pool a great bonus and the I would definitely stay there again.

The staff could have been a little more helpful. A wider range of food at breakfast would have helped although it was late in the season.

they have gym but with nothing in it... not very good quality of food... very cold pool...we all got sick and no double beds! generally it needs a renewal!

Great location. Leave the car and walk around the village. Also close to nice picnic/bbq areas ideal for families.

Potentially a nice hotel but badly needs modenising. Rooms look like they have not been touched for 25 years. In general the hotel is a bit run-down and tired looking.

The swimmingpool and the view is wonderful. Also to listen til running water outswide end the birds singign in the trees.

3 Complaints. The bed was too hard. I like a firm mattress but this was like a board and it kept me awake and when I did sleep I woke aching. There was a small fridge but it was empty even small bottles of water would have been pleasant While it was good to have heating it was too hot during the night and there was no way to control it or switch it off

The bar of the hotel did not offer anything! The service was average The heating was turned off and we had to make a complaint to turn it on. Minimum toiletries. Breakfast very poor.

In such mountain hotels facilities such as playrooms for kids, not just electronic games with money, should be available. Also we asked at the reception for playing cards and they only had 1/2 a set. Books, and family games should be available in order to pass your time at night.

Staff was rude, rooms were dirty, one barman for 100 people etc etc..

Very well located, friendly staff, clean, quiet, an excellent place to relax, to make mountrips (on foot, by moto,...)

Bath available but no bath plug even when it was requested!

the garden, the pool area, the fresh air, the mature trees, the hundreds of swifts, swallows or housemartins swooping around, the friendly staff.

no air-con in the room, terrible coffee from a machine and poor selection of food at breakfast, the health club was closed so there was no jacuzzi as advertised.
